Jessica Simpson’s look-alike daughter Maxwell doubled up on denim for their day out.
The duo visited the PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park in Los Angeles on Friday, with the fashion designer showing off their outfits via Instagram.
“Bring your Barbie to work day 💗,” she captioned a slideshow of mirror selfies at home before the event.
Simpson, 43, paired her pink eyelet dress with a matching $3,000 Fendi Baguette bag and bronze platform heels ($99) from her own footwear brand.
As for her 11-year-old, Maxwell rocked a cropped denim corset and a floor-length jean skirt with a high slit.
The preteen accessorized with a white Saint Laurent Sac de Jour tote ($3,200) and a matching grommeted belt, plus layered necklaces and platform combat boots.
The pair were joined by their dog Penny for the “best day ever” in a video Simpson shared on Instagram the following day.
While some trolls commented on Maxwell looking “grown” in the belly-baring top, other users defended her fashion over the weekend.
“We’re not in the Brady Bunch years anymore, she looks fine,” one of Simpson’s followers pointed out. “She’s with her momma!”
The singer has yet to comment on the backlash.
Simpson did, however, speak to “Access Hollywood” Friday about how Maxwell and her two younger children, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4, have reacted to negative comments online about her weight.

“My kids have seen me being still scrutinized,” she explained. “It’s very confusing to them because they’re like, ‘I don’t even understand this. Why don’t they just saw you look pretty, Mom? You look pretty.’
“I tell my kids, ‘How you feel about yourself is how you should feel. You don’t dress for anybody else. You don’t try to look like anybody else.'”
The actress welcomed Maxwell and Ace in 2012 and 2013, respectively. After Birdie arrived in 2019, Simpson showed off her 100-pound weight loss.
In a July interview with Bustle, she clarified that she did not shed pounds with diabetes drugs such as Ozempic, which has taken Hollywood by storm.
The “Newlyweds” alum credited “willpower” for her slim-down, saying, “I am fortunate to have been every size. For [my] brand, understanding the women [who buy our products] and for my psyche.”
