Israel Has Pressed the Self

The Education Ministry will permit discussions of the judicial coup in schools. The last thing we need is for children to exploit this in order to ask, what kind of state will we have after the coup? What will its borders be? It isn’t only children. Parents are afraid to ask, the answers could be horrific. We are a dysfunctional family. Everyone knows about the abusive son but no one talks about it. It’s a family secret. A conspiracy of silence. And silence ossifies thought. It creates repression. We live from day to day, tossing our days to the wind.
