Visualization on UCN trade portal undergoes enhancements to help users quickly consume and view important flows

Undercurrent News has added two new features to the trade portal, designed to deliver a quicker and more efficient view of key import and export data.

Enhancement 1: Year-over-Year Partner Comparison Table

Users can now view trade flows by partner country in a side-by-side table format, comparing monthly, year-to-date, and full-year totals with the previous year. This feature instantly clarifies how trade volumes are trending by supplier, perfect for spotting shifts in sourcing or validating market movement.

Enhancement 2: Year-to-Date vs Total Trade View

The new view lets users compare current year-to-date (YTD) trade volumes against YTD figures from previous years, offering a valuable perspective on how this year is shaping up in real time. At the same time, full-year totals from past years remain visible, helping users gauge where the current year might land by year-end.
